My phone is usually somewhere where I can't hear it, and if I do hear it, I'm often in the middle of a thought I don't want to lose. Because as soon as the phone rings, my concentration is gone. And that's a shame, because I was just about to come up with something brilliant.
Email is much more civilized. You read it when it suits you, I reply when it suits me, and vice versa. No intrusion on each other's time, no unexpected interruptions. And if there's ever a discussion about who said what? It's all in black and white. No "but I thought you said..." nonsense.
So: feel free to use my beautiful contact form (I worked so hard on it). I'll read it as soon as I have a moment. And don't worry: I usually reply pretty quickly, I'm far too curious to wait long.
